Kathy BarrellieNursery teacher (QTS)
Kathy Barrellie
Mrs Barrellie is our Nursery teacher and manager who has over twenty years experience in teaching young children. Mrs Barrellie is passionate about children's learning and development in the early years. She loves to teach number, physical development and story telling. Mrs Barrellie is one of our SEN practitioners working closely with Katie Raw, our Nursery SENCO, and Mr Shelton who is our All Saints School SENCO. She is also qualified in Paediatric First Aid, Elkan speech and language and is one of the school's Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL). She has recently completed her NPQEYL. Mrs Barrellie leads the transition of all of the children, supporting them as they move towards their school Reception year.

Laura BrownDeputy Nursery Manager & 2 Year Lead
Laura Brown
Laura is our Nursery Deputy Manager and Two Year Lead. She is a Level 4 qualified Early Years Educator and has over 20 years experience in teaching and caring for young children. Laura is Paediatric First Aid trained and is also working on the HALO project within our setting. Laura is very experienced in settling young children and supporting families as they start our setting. She leads the team in completing Integrated Progress Review's (IPR's) and also supports the Nursery SENCO. She is currently studying for her BA (Hons) in Early Childhood and has recently completed her NPQEYL.

Sarah MarshallEarly Years Educator
Sarah Marshall
Sarah is a highly experienced practitioner who has over thirty years experience in working with children in education settings and is a paediatric first aider. Sarah works with our three and four year old children and strives to create positive learning opportunities. Sarah runs weekly Helicopter Story sessions with the children and enjoys art and literacy activities within the setting.

Amanda PlayleEarly Years Educator and Outdoor Lead
Amanda Playle
Amanda is a very experienced level 3 practitioner with over 15 years experience. Amanda works across the setting. She is our Nursery Outdoor Lead and has completed her level 2 Forest School qualification. Amanda runs forest school and balance-ability sessions every week and works closely with external community projects to develop our outdoor provision. Amanda has recently completed her Early Years Professional Development Programme and is also a paediatric first aider.

Katie RawNursery SENCO and Early Years Educator
Katie Raw
Katie has earned their Foundation Degree in Early Years Education & Care and is our Nursery SENCO, creating an inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive and achieve. They like to promote children's overall wellbeing and emotional regulation, making sure that children feel welcome and safe so they can explore and learn.
They collaborate closely with families, the nursery team and external services to plan children's support and development and promote their best interests so that children can succeed during their early years and their future education.
Katie is also paediatric first aid trained.

Emily RidgleyEarly Years Educator
Emily Ridgley
Emily is a qualified level 3 Early Years Educator who works with our two and three year old children. Emily is our EAL Coordinator who works across the setting to aid children in their learning and development. Emily leads intervention groups developing the children's Personal, Social and Emotional skills. Emily supports many of our children with additional needs, working in partnership with the Nursery SENCO, outside agencies and families to achieve the best outcomes for the children in her care. Emily is a paediatric first aider and has a certificate in food hygiene.

Katie JonesEarly Years Educator
Katie Jones
Katie is a qualified level 3 Early Years Educator who works predominantly with our three and four year old children but also supports the transition of our children from the smaller playroom to the larger playroom. Katie enjoys planning and preparing activities that develop children's fine motor skills as well as supporting children with their mark-making and pencil control. Katie is also a paediatric first aider and is currently working towards her level 5 foundation degree in Early Years.

Lisa CaleyEarly Years Educator
Lisa Caley
Lisa is a qualified level 3 practitioner and first aid instructor with over 35 years of experience. She has previously worked as a nanny, nursery educator, maternity nurse, a nursery deputy manager and manager. Currently she spends her time between working in the setting and teaching first aid to adults and children. Lisa is very passionate about early years education and always promotes a welcoming and safe environment for all children. She enjoys being creative & loves to be outdoors in nature. Lisa holds a Paediatric first aid certificate as well as a level 3 certificate in Understanding Mental Health in children and young people.

Jodie O'DellEarly Years Educator
Jodie O'Dell
Jodie is a qualified level 3 qualified Early Years Educator who works with our three and four year old children and is now working towards her level 5 foundation degree in Early Years curriculum. Jodie particularly enjoys teaching PE with the Nursery Teacher. Jodie works closely with the Reception teacher on school transition and promotes the importance of building strong and positive relationships with our families. Jodie is also a trained paediatric first aider.

Ruby RickabyEarly Years Educator Apprentice
Ruby Rickaby
Ruby is a level 2 qualified Early Years Educator and is now working towards her level 3 qualification. Ruby works with the two and three year old children and particularly enjoys leading messy play activities and supporting children's fine motor skills. Ruby works hard to promote the importance of building strong attachments with our children. Ruby is also paediatric first aid trained.

Chloe BatchelorEarly Years Educator Apprentice
Chloe Batchelor
Chloe is currently working towards her Level 3 qualification. Chloe works with the three and four children and leads the creative art activities in the setting. Chloe supports some of our children with their Communication and Language development and works with our Nursery SENCO to provide children with inclusive opportunities. Chloe is paediatric first aid trained.
